About Development
CANDLE was developed during the 2nd stage of Rosario Game Lab 2022, with the challenge of developing an "Escape Room" in one month.
After the event concluded, the project continued with 2 weeks of hard work, polishing everything we could polish.
With this release we intend that users report possible problems and hopefully we will release its version 1.1.

Muy bueno el jueguito, una joya oculta, con potencial
I loved the whole concept of this game, although it did take me a while to complete it but I had a lot of fun over all, good work :)
Well Well Well, This was really enjoyable. The Darkness and not being able to see that far ahead really kept me on edge that something was gonna get me. The Atmosphere to this was so good, Also the Puzzles were really good well done.. Great Job
Loved the dark tone and the story, graphics really have that PS1 era aesthetic that I absolutely love, sound design is solid. If I could ask for something more, that would be a bit more variety in puzzles, unless of course that would change the theme of your game drastically. Overall, a solid, thoroughly enjoyable game!
The little variety is due to the little time we had to develop, I'm glad you liked it!
Absolutely understandable, and in no way was the game boring. It's just that I can see this turning into something bigger with just a few additions here and there! Cheers!
Well done game! Definitely had an extremely dark tone and ending, but the atmosphere was great and the puzzles were fairly well done.
I do think that the balance for the puzzles was a little harsh for the player though. I quickly found a routine of "use the light to see around and look at the map, die, then solve the puzzle and move on". It also seems that every time you put down/pick up a light, you lose about a third of the candle, which felt harsh.
But besides that, I had a ton of fun. Nice work and keep it up, I look forward to seeing what you do next!
anyway 10/10 door closing sfx scared me pog
Yes, there is an alternate ending!
Gave it a Let's Play, I enjoyed the unique nature of the puzzles, they weren't convoluted but also not brainlessly easy, short, simple, but with certain depth.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooOOoooooooooooooooo000000
nice vibes psx
